Botterill Sales was started in 1993 by Bob Botterill as a shortline farm machinery dealership located on his farm near Newton, MB. Bob was always intrigued by farm machinery and found the opportunity to bring these new tools to his neighbors very enticing. Bob was soon a common sight at all the major farm shows in Western Canada. He also introduced his son Todd to the equipment business, having Todd help him at farm shows and on demos while Todd was attending university.

In 1999 Todd went to work for Phoenix Rotary Equipment as an inside salesman. Within 6 months he began travelling Western Canada and soon after that became Territory Manager for the Phoenix tillage line in the Eastern US. He covered this territory until 2006 when he went to work for Salford Farm Machinery.

Bob continued selling machinery and farming until early 2009 when he was killed in a farming accident. Todd came back to the farm to settle the estate and take over Botterill Sales. He changed the primary focus of the business from retail sales to Independent Manufacturers Representation which was much more similar to the work he had done in the past.

We still are known for finding the newest, most innovative products and use our experience to bring them to the best dealers and farmers. We believe in working hard, being honest and being as easy to work with as possible. We have recently moved from the original farmsite to a store front in Portage La Prairie which will be used as a shipping point for parts for manufacturers represented by Botterill Sales.

Please contact us if you have any questions about our product lines or are looking for representation/warehousing.

Thanks and take care!
